The oil from the Evening primrose can be extracted from its seeds. Its seeds are said to contain 7% to 10% GLA or gamma-linolenic acid.
Since the human body doesn’t produce essential fatty acids, it’s important to get them from food sources or from dietary supplements. Omega-6 fatty acid is essential for maintaining the health of the skin and hair. It also assists in the relief of minor skin complaints, eczema and premenstrual symptoms.

The oil from evening primrose seeds contains omega-6 fatty acids, including gamma-linolenic acid.
