About Us

Founded in 1894 in Marseille, the Savonnerie du Midi is one of the city's last historical soap factories preserving traditional Marseille soap-making methods. Located in the Aygalades district, the factory was moved there post-World War II and continues to produce soap using the classic cauldron method, with about 300 tonnes made monthly—80% of which is exported.

Acquired by the PRODEF family business in 2013, which has been active in hygiene and cleaning products since 1924, the Savonnerie du Midi benefits from PRODEF's commitment to ecological and organic products. The factory has undergone significant renovations to modernize its facilities and is recognized as an Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) for its craftsmanship.

The Savonnerie du Midi is also engaged in local development through the PaQte program and recently revamped its site with support from regional and state funds. Its museum received the QUALITE TOURISME label for its high standards.

Délices de Méditerranée liquid soap from the Méditerranée range is certified organic. Embrace the delightful blend of vanilla, orange, and fig! This liquid soap is perfect for the whole family.

Our Délices de Méditerranée liquid soap from the Méditerranée range is made exclusively from organic Copra and Olive oils. Cooked in a cauldron in the pure tradition, it is guaranteed without palm oil and without colouring. Enriched with prickly pear flower, an organic active ingredient known for its antioxidant properties, it has a sparkling "orange, fig, vanilla" fragrance.

Organic & vegetable composition, COSMOS ORGANIC approved

This liquid soap is certified COSMOS ORGANIC by Ecocert Greenlife according to the COSMOS standard.

99% of the ingredients are of natural origin.

11% of the total ingredients are organically grown.
